Body-Jet is the most modern tool used for liposuction, which is delicate and not much invasive. It is so-called water liposuction allowing for conducting the procedure with better effects than in case of classic liposuction.

Body-Jet has an innovative system of sucking the fat tissue by means of cannulas with a water stream whose tension can be adjusted to various structures of fat tissue. It allows for selective removal of fat cells, simultaneously protecting the connective tissue, vessels and nerves. A precise water stream is now utilized in many surgical domains. Comparison with conventional techniques has shown the water technique to be better, as the time needed for the procedure is shorter, blood loss is definitely smaller and tissues are in a better condition after the procedure.

An innovation and an undoubted advantage of the Body-Jet technology is receiving undamaged fat cells after liposuction. The cells can be utilized in the procedures of body modeling (breast, buttock or lip augmentation, cheekbone or calf filler). It is the most natural and safest filler. The procedures are also conducted under topical anesthesia, during the same surgical procedure.

During water liposuction a special solution that frees fat cells in the connective tissue, at the same time sparing more fibrous structures (nerves and vessels), is applied through a cannula (under pressure). At the same time, the substance anesthetizes the area operated on and narrows blood vessels, minimizing bleeding. With use of the same cannula fat cells are sucked. As a result of topical shrinking of blood vessels by means of adrenaline, the removed fat tissue contains usually 1–3% of blood. During the procedure of classic liposuction performed with general anesthesia this amount can reach up to 40% in one sample. Not only does improved homeostasis decrease blood loss, but it also results in smaller hemorrhages. Pressurized water combines with fat cells and then it is sucked again and disposed of outside.

 

Body modeling with fat:

Undamaged fat cells derived from liposuction can be utilized for breast augmentation or buttock modeling, breast reconstruction after mastectomy or filling of wrinkles. It is the most natural and safest filler. The procedures are also conducted under topical anesthesia, during the same surgical procedure, and the prepared material is applied through a cannula, which eliminates formation of linear scars. During one procedure a maximum of 250 ml of material is inserted into each breast.

The strategy of treatment consists in application of the prepared material near well-vascularized tissues with use of a thin cannula. As a result, engrafted fat can endure the period of hypoxia (lowered content of oxygen in blood) better and start new circulation. It occurs within 36 hours. During this time part of the tissue is irrevocably absorbed (up to 20%). It depends on, among others, the place from which fat cells are collected. Many specialists believe that due to the non-fibrous character of fat tissue as well as scarce vascularization of this area the optimal place is the inside of thighs. Less vascularized adipocytes can be able to survive longer during the initial period of lowered oxygen content in blood, right after transplantation. After the period of initial swelling fat is gradually absorbed and the process becomes stable after about six months. In accordance with research, it amounts to 20–40% of the volume left after the first 36 hours after the procedure. The main factor influencing this amount can be a significant decrease in body mass, e.g. as a result of a diet or intensive physical effort. After this time the graft effect is constant. The procedure can be repeated six months after the first one.

Scars after eyelid correction are nearly or completely invisible.
